I changed all 4 of my smoke detectors to this combination one as the current policy requires. Easy to install as other brands. Apparently, it's much better looking than Kidde. Hopefully, the battery lasts 10 years as advertised, so there is no waking up at night by the low battery beeping.

You can't imagine how crazy it is to have all smoke alarms going off at the same time. Well at least they all went mad within a few days of each other. AND ALL AT NIGHT. Anyways, I looked all I can find online and found some new alarms. And spot this brand, look like the quality and quick response. Very easy installation. My son smokes MJ and it went off every time in his room. Other than that these look and work great. Highly recommend.

I have regular smoke detectors, and you have to change the battery every half year or so. I will always forget and hear the dreaded beeping. I have to replace it, so I came across this one from Google and it surprised me. 10 year battery?? Like a dream! If it did one problem solved in my life. I ordered it right away. It's very easy to install and has a test button. I will be ordering another one for my garage. Recommend!

After googling for a while, I finally landed on this wireless smoke detector. I am glad I did as they work great and there is an LCD showing level of carbon monoxide in the room. I put this in our bedrooms as the detectors installed when we bought the house weren't detect carbon monoxide.

Doing a perfect job even in the kitchen. Best thing about a wireless detector: You can simply take it off from the wall bracket and turn it off. No hassle. While wired ones need you to smash it to stop the alarm.

Top-quality and very easy to install. I used to have a wired fire alarm, which just went out all at once. If the batteries last, this will be the go-to product for fire and CO warning systems. Leave it 5 stars. But not really sure the advertised 10 year batteries will last. Would definitely recommend to my friends and colleagues who dealing with annual battery changes and a temperamental hard wired system.

So we bought this a few months ago to replace an old one- and this thing constantly goes off, blinking a blue light. Nothing is wrong in our house- no fire, no smoke, it��s not picking up any carbon dioxide. I am highly confused and highly annoyed- this thing was too expensive to have issues like this. Because my house is as small as it is, the "hallway" is essentially part of the kitchen, and must have a smoke detector according building codes. My old smoke detector would go off when I boiled water and I was so frustrated. This one has been a god-send. No more false alarms, I can fry bacon, broil chicken, burn toast and yes, even boil water without having all my pets scamper in fear of the alarm. Thank you!

This replaced a Kidde smoke/CO detector that had reached end-of-life. My very first impression when removing from the box was how much heavier and sturdier than the Kidde this detector was. This detector is the last of 9 to be replaced with a sealed 10 year battery. No more digging out the ladder twice a year to replace batteries. Except for having to work atop a ladder this was easy to install. Ran the self-test and it is very loud, probably will be able to hear it on all three floors.

I am always leary when trusting something with my life, so I tested the CO part of the alarm in a trash bag filled with car exhaust and sealed, the ppm display worked but the alarm did not! On a similar test with smoke the smoke alarm worked fine, dont trust anything with your life !!!!!!!

How do I replace the battery?: There is no need to replace the battery, as this alarm has a built-in 10-year lithium battery that cannot be replaced. When the battery is low, you should replace the entire device.

What is the difference between the SC01 and SC03 models?: The SC01 and SC03 have the same basic functions. The only difference is that the SC01 features an LCD, and the SC03 does not. The LCD indicates real-time carbon monoxide concentrations in the surrounding air, the remaining battery life, and the alarm’s working status. You can purchase the SC01 or SC03 based on your preferences.

Does the LCD display concentration values lower than 30 ppm?: Like most units, it shows CO levels above 30 ppm. Individuals with medical conditions that may make them more sensitive to carbon monoxide may consider using warning devices that provide audible and visual signals for carbon monoxide concentrations under 30 ppm.

What is the lowest carbon monoxide ppm level this alarm will detect?: Like most units, it shows CO levels above 30 ppm. When the reading reaches 70 ppm, an alarm will be triggered. An alarm’s response time will vary depending on different CO levels in the air: within 60–240 minutes at a level of 70 ppm, within 10–50 minutes at a level of 150 ppm, and within 4–15 minutes at a level of 400 ppm.

Does this alarm use a voice alarm during an emergency?: No, this alarm doesn’t have a voice function. You can identify its working status by the flashing LED and buzzer.

How can I tell if smoke or CO triggered an alarm?: You can identify whether the alarm is triggered by smoke or carbon monoxide by beeps from the alarm. When the device is triggered by smoke, it will deliver 3 long beeps every 1.5 seconds. When the device is triggered by carbon monoxide, it will deliver 4 quick beeps every 5.8 seconds.

Does this alarm flash every few minutes?: Yes, the LED indicator flashes green once every 60 seconds in standby mode, indicating it is functioning properly. However, the light is fairly dim and should not disturb your sleep.

What is the operating temperature range?: The optimum operating temperature is between 40°F (4.4°C) to 100°F (37.8°C). If you place this unit in a lower or higher temperature environment, the product performance and lifetime will be affected. Therefore, it is recommended to use this product in its optimum temperature range.
