This article will explain the unique connection capabilities of each type of device we offer.Understanding X-Sense Device ConnectionsHere's a breakdown of the different types of devices we currently offer, categorized by their connection capabilities:Standalone Models: These devices work independently. They don't interconnect with other alarms or connect to an app. When a hazard is detected, only that specific unit will sound a local alarm.Examples: XS01, SD2J0AX, XC01-R, SC07Interconnected Models: These units wirelessly connect with each other using RF technology. This means if one unit detects smoke or CO, all connected units will sound an alarm at the same time. Please note, these models don't support app connectivity.Examples: XS01-WR, SD19-W, XC01-WR, SC07-WApp-Connected Models: These models link directly to the X-Sense Home Security app via 2.4 GHz WiFi. This allows you to manage your devices remotely, receive alerts, or silence alarms right from your smartphone. However, they don't support interconnection, so each device operates independently.Examples: XS01-WX, XC04-WX, SC07-WXLink+ Pro Series: This series offers the best of both worlds! When used with a compatible base station (sold separately or included in kits), these devices support both wireless interconnection and app connectivity.
