Setup was easy and my leak tests worked exactly as expected.
Thanks

Very prompt service and easy to activate and set up on the phone.

We have a very large home and I was very pleased to see that the range of signals from the base and satellites communicating with each other is quite huge. There have been no problems with signal loss between the equipment.
Once everything was connected, I did a quick test where I put a satellite detector in my sink and put a small stream of water in it. When the water touched the sensor at the bottom of the detector, a loud alarm on the base station went off and sent a notification to my iPhone. Wow! Does this even need to be said? Can it be that simple?
I've never seen something like this come together so easily. It was so effortlessly built up.
What you get in the box is a base station and 3 satellite detectors. You also get a power cable and the bricks for the base station. I would recommend centring the base station in your home.
The app is very good, but has one major annoyance that has been addressed in other reviews here. The pros are that the app is well laid out and easy to use. It provides a very good glimpse of your activation system, its online status, and battery levels. Speaking of batteries, they are easy to replace.

My dishwasher was linked 2 weeks ago (Jan 7, 2023). I ventured into the unfinished basement on my day off, only to find water dripping on my head. I then went upstairs to check the running dishwasher; then I removed the skirting board and saw the pump motor dripping (I have hardwood floors in my kitchen and luckily found this leak before it ruined the floor) ...... Not a good situation. The next day I purchased a new dishwasher and had it installed the following weekend. Then I found this sensor kit with a base station on Amazon.com. The sensor kit arrived today (1 week after installing the new dishwasher). I installed the whole kit in 15 minutes. I placed a new leak sensor under the new dishwasher, under the kitchen sink and under the basement water heater. I also tested each sensor by holding them in my hand and the moisture in my skin kept making them react .... , how cool! I then placed each sensor on a dry counter to disable it, .... , very impressive!

I double-checked the water leak sensor and subsequent alarm notification. I laid wet paper towels on two sets of probes (one set of probes at the bottom and one set at the top), one at a time. I watched the water leak sensor red warning light on the sensor and waited for the alarm to come calling. Of the three water sensor modules I purchased, one set of the water leak sensors at the bottom did not light up consistently (no red alert light about 80% of the time, and no app alerts to the phone). I returned that sensor and X-S promptly sent a new one, which worked fine.

I bought these 1 months ago after a terrible flood in my basement. I didn't want that to happen again so I was looking for a precaution that would help me catch it quickly as we don't use our basement very often. Therefore, I put these 3 sensors in the area where water is most likely to get in.
Bottom line. They are effective. They sense the smallest amount of water. They send you texts and emails to alert you to problems (I put them on my iPhone on emergency notifications, so I get a chime if my phone is on vibrate). They also let you know when your Wifi is disconnected. They aren't hard to use. They definitely do the job. I have sold these to all my friends and family.

Setup was easy and quick. The water leak detector works well and you get an immediate alert via your phone and the X-Sense app.

We had a flood a few years ago when a 3 year old American (brand) water heater broke in our garage, blew a hole in the drywall and water gushed into the house. This, of course, happened late one night on a holiday weekend. I never, ever want to repeat that horrible experience!" . It took 4-5 months to reassemble our home, more than the insurance company paid for. (We wanted more control rather than handing everything over to a contractor of minimum wage workers).
After a lot of research, we bought an X-Sense water detection system consisting of 3 base stations, 9 sensors and an alarm. The sensors were installed under or next to every water source in the house - toilets, sinks, washing machines, fridges, dishwashers (one sensor 2 under it), water heaters and water softeners. I am a 69 year old woman, not a programmer, and I would say that the set up was very simple.

I purchased this base station and detector kit and put them behind the access panel in the basement, if the water happened again I didn't want to go through that again before it started hitting the carpet. Flash forward to this morning and the water leak sensor went off at 8.25am and pointed out the location of the leak. I ran downstairs but had to pass the ground floor bathroom where the leak had occurred over a year ago and I heard a hissing sound. I looked and the new pex ring had failed in the same place and was leaking into the basement again. This time it was obviously loose and not cracked like the last time, but the result was the same. I closed the main sluice and removed the access panel to see how much water was there and luckily the sensor quickly alerted me that there was hardly any moisture down there so that was a huge saving. I'm glad I caught this at home. This sensor is a life saver.

I purchased this water leak system after reading some reviews. I installed it and an additional set of sensors in our surgical facility because of several previous instances of water leaks disrupting surgeries. Less than 7 days after installing the system, I received a notification to detect water at 3:00 am. The system works well and has saved us a lot of money and prevented potential flooding again due to a faulty plumbing system. The system was very easy to set up.

We purchased this item as a safety net since the house had been built for five years. We used these for about two months and one afternoon we received a notice at the house. There was water in the washing machine area. I thought there was a malfunction in the system. To my surprise, it detected very little water on the floor by the washing machine. Highly recommended.

I have a saying in my family. When it comes to IoT things, "no clouds allowed". Smart devices are good, but they must be able to operate without an internet connection (IMO). These leak sensors can be "tied" to a X-Sense Smart Alarm and a X-Sense Smart Water Valve. If the sensor trips, the alarm will go off and the water valve will close.
