Important Feature Missing

It's a good value, but as it's a "travel CO detector", why doesn't it have an on/off switch?Why have it use the batteries when it's in your suitcase in the closet in your home (with CO detectors), waiting for the next trip? If, like me, you want it activated when you check into an AirBnB or hotel, and to be able to de-activate it when you check out. The only way to do this now is to remove and replace the batteries.

Economical option. Paper mounting with screws.

There is no back plating attachment with this. Only a paper sheet with markings to guide you to drill screws. With most standard walls, only 1 will hit the stud. It would have been nice if there was an actual back plating and the screws were aligned vertically for a stud.

Preventative Alarm at a good price

Bought this for my tent while camping to use as a preventative measure for my buddy heater and its exactly what I needed! It comes with batteries and is loud so it will wake you up if you plan to sleep with a propane heater in your tent.Great addition to my gear!
