Regular Self-Check
This X-Sense smart smoke alarm will regularly check battery status and Wi-Fi connection. If there is any problem, the smoke alarm will issue an alarm and the LED indicator will flash red while sending you a notification via the smartphone app.
Low Battery Notification
You will receive a notification via your smartphone app if the smoke alarm is in a low battery status or the battery power is recovered again. When the battery is low, the smoke alarm will beep once every 60 seconds and the LED indicator will flash red once every 60 seconds.
Malfunction Notification
If the alarm’s software malfunctions, the smart smoke detector will deliver 2 beeps every 40 seconds and the LED indicator will flash twice every 40 seconds. At the same time, you will also receive a notification on your smartphone app.
Replaceable Lithium Battery
This smart Wi-Fi smoke alarm has a long lifespan of up to 10 years, and is equipped with a replaceable lithium battery that can power the alarm for 1 year. When the battery dies, simply take out the battery, replace it, and properly dispose of the dead battery.
Wi-Fi Connection via 2.4 GHz
Even if there is no Wi-Fi connection, the smart alarm will still function as a normal alarm, including detecting smoke and sounding an alarm. However, the alarm can only send notifications to the smartphone app when connected to Wi-Fi.
