Recently wife called 911 because are old unit said carbon monoxide when it was just a low battery. Will not happen with this setup.

I like the fact that the LED and LCD displays are not constantly on. Not only saves battery power and extends battery life, but not an annoying bright light to look at in the middle of the night.
